Come Enjoy Christmas on Victoria Row

November 27th, 2007 – Charlottetown, PEI – Victoria Row invites the public to come to a Christmas Party on historic Victoria Row, Friday, November 30th  from 6-8 pm.  Come enjoy the carolling, snacks, and refreshments.  With every purchase at a participating store, you will receive a ballot to win gift certificates from the Victoria Row merchants.

Northern Watters Knitwear will feature Santa giving treats to the kids, and serving hot cider. Details, Past & Present will have egg nog and cookies, while Walker Studios invites visitors to participate in prize winning games, such as pin the tail on Rudolf. The Chord Fusion will be on hand from 7:00 - 8:00pm to provide some beautiful Christmas music.  Refreshments and snacks will be served at the bestofpei Store featuring Island made food products. 

The 'Meet the Artist' series continues with:

Teri Hall -  Silversmith
Teri Hall imbues one-of-a-kind sterling silver or gold pieces of jewelry with the timeless beauty of seaglass discovered on Island shores.  Her studio is picturesque Fortune Bay, in Eastern Prince Edward Island.

Laura Cole -  Mosaic Glass
These enchanting creations by Laura Cole of Pinette are produced using reclaimed windows and frames, and a rustic glass-on-glass technique often featuring Island flora and other scenes.

Mike Fitzgerald - Wood
Dog River Woodworking, located in Clyde River, PEI, is owned and operated by Mike Fitzgerald, a former school teacher. What began as a passion for working with wood has evolved into a full time craft manufacturing venture. Dog River handcrafts a varied craft line from bird's eye maple, walnut, cherry, yellow birch, and maple as well as some exotic woods. A 3 part finish consisting of oils and polyurethane are hand rubbed into the wood.
